Word Fest Toowoomba is excited to announce an exciting line-up for our upcoming festival that will be kicking off on the 1st of June, 2023. This year, our festival events will include a Literary Lunch with local author Nikki Mottram, talks from Authors from all walks of life, and panels that cover an array of topics.
Word Fest Toowoomba 1000-word Short Story Competition
Word Fest Toowoomba is excited to announce our first-ever Writing Competition.
Writers who are Australian residents are welcome to submit their 1000-word short stories for this year’s writing competition.
First place – $100
Second place – $50.
On Friday evenings, at Another Life Coffee and Wares we will be hosting Fireside Chats for all to join. Tickets are $10 at the door, and includes nibbles, with drinks available for purchase.
